IAHR Workshop: Study of Religion Without an Object? Global Perspectives

The event is orga­nized by the Eston­ian Soci­ety for the Study of Reli­gions in coop­er­a­tion with the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tar­tu and is an offi­cial Sum­mer School of the Inter­na­tion­al Asso­ci­a­tion for the His­to­ry of Reli­gions (IAHR), with par­tial fund­ing from the IAHR. This work­shop aims to bring togeth­er both the­o­ret­i­cal reflec­tions as well as spe­cif­ic case stud­ies that analyse the con­tem­po­rary schol­ar­ly under­stand­ings of the object of the study of reli­gion and pro­pose viable direc­tions for­ward.
